5. Project Engagement
A project begins only after:

- Initial payment (deposit)

- Timely feedback
Failure to provide needed items may delay the project.
6. Payments & Fees
6.1 Payment Structure
Devfic uses the following payment model:
- 50% upfront (non-refundable)
- Remaining 50% upon completion or milestone delivery
Custom payment plans may apply depending on project size.
6.2 Late Payments
If a payment is late:
- Work pauses immediately
- Deadlines shift accordingly
- Services may be suspended or terminated
- A daily or weekly fee may apply (depending on agreement)
6.3 Refund Policy
Devfic does not offer refunds on:
- Upfront payments
- Completed work
- Approved milestones
- Services already delivered
7. Revisions & Scope Changes
7.1 Included Revisions
Each project comes with a set number of revisions, typically:
- 2–3 rounds depending on the agreement
- Revisions only apply to already delivered work—not full redesigns
7.2 Additional Revisions
Extra revisions beyond the agreed limit may incur additional fees.
7.3 Scope Changes
Any request that alters:
- Features
- Layout
- User flows
- Functionality
- Design direction
Is considered out of scope and will require:
- A revised quote
- Additional payment
- An extended timeline
8. Project Timelines
Devfic provides estimated timelines based on:
- Scope
- Complexity
- Client responsiveness
Delays in feedback, payments, or asset submission will extend timelines.
Devfic is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Third-party services
- API failures
- Hosting downtime
- Unforeseen technical limitations
- Client-side delays
9. Deliverables

- Documentation

Final deliverables are provided after full payment is received.
10. Intellectual Property Rights
10.1 Client-Owned
Upon full payment, the Client receives rights to:

- Branding
- Custom designs
- Unique code written for the project
10.2 Devfic-Owned
Devfic retains ownership of:
- Pre-built components
- Frameworks
- Internal tools
- Reusable templates
- Project methodologies
These may be reused in other projects.
10.3 Portfolio Usage
Devfic may display:
- Completed work
- Snippets
- Screenshots
- Case studies
- Logos
in our portfolio, unless the Client requests a privacy exception in writing.
11. Third-Party Services
Devfic may use third-party tools such as:
- APIs
- Hosting platforms
- Libraries
- Payment gateways
- Integration services
Devfic is not responsible for:
- Downtime
- Bugs
- Security issues
- Data loss
- Policy changes
caused by third-party providers
12. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep private:
- Strategies
- Credentials
- Business information
- Proprietary data
Confidentiality survives termination.
13. Warranty Disclaimer
All work is provided as-is once approved by the Client.
Devfic does not guarantee:
- That software will run error-free indefinitely
- Compatibility with future browser/OS updates
- API or plugin longevity
- Performance after external modification
14. Post-Delivery Terms
14.1 If Client Modifies the Project
Devfic is not responsible:
- For breaks
- Bugs
- Security issues
Caused by the Client or any third-party developer after delivery.
14.2 Additional Support
Support packages can be purchased for:
- Fixes
- Maintenance
- New features
- Improvements
15. Indemnification
The Client agrees to indemnify Devfic from claims arising from:
- Illegal content
- Copyrighted assets the Client does not own
- Misuse of the delivered product
- Business losses caused by Client decisions
- Third-party disputes related to Client data or content
16. Limitation of Liability
Devfic is not liable for:
- Loss of revenue
- System downtime
- Loss of user data
- Cyber-attacks
- Project delays
- Third-party failures
- Business losses of any kind
Total liability is limited to the amount paid by the Client for the project.
17. Termination
Either party may terminate if:
- The other party violates the agreement
- Payments are not made on time
- The Client becomes unresponsive (7–14 days)
Upon termination:
- Work completed will be delivered if fully paid
- No refunds are issued
- Devfic may stop all services immediately
18. Force Majeure
Devfic is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Natural disasters
- Server outages
- War
- Power failures
- Internet failures
- Government restrictions
- Illness
- Or events beyond reasonable control
19. Dispute Resolution
In case of disagreement:
- Both parties attempt to resolve through communication
- If unresolved, mediation may be used
- If still unresolved, the matter may go to arbitration or court depending on jurisdiction
20. Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of United Arab Emirates.
Any legal actions must take place in United Arab Emirates.
21. Updates to Terms
Devfic may update these Terms at any time.
